Vehicle Requirements
How to specify the types and quantities of vehicles you need for your trip.
Setting Vehicle Requirements
Vehicle requirements tell operators exactly what fleet capacity you need. Operators must match or exceed your specified counts in their bid.
Vehicle Types
| Type | Typical Capacity | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Coach / Charter Bus | 45–56 seats | Large school/sports groups, tours |
| Mid-Size Coach | 24–35 seats | Medium groups, regional travel |
| Mini Bus | 14–24 seats | Small groups, short trips |
| Sprinter Van | 10–14 seats | Very small groups, transfers |
| School Bus | 40–72 seats | School field trips |
| Classic Stretch Limo | 8 seats | Corporate events, weddings |
| Luxury Escalade Stretch | 6 seats | Premium corporate transport |
| Elegant Wedding Limo | 8 seats | Wedding transportation |
Adding Requirements
In the trip form, click Add Vehicle Requirement. Select the vehicle type and specify how many of that type you need.
Example: A school field trip for 85 students might require:
- 2× Coach / Charter Bus (capacity: 90+ seats total)
Or with more flexibility:
- 1× Coach / Charter Bus + 1× Mid-Size Coach
Multiple Vehicle Types
You can add multiple requirements to a single trip. Operators can bid on all vehicle types listed or specify which types they can fulfill.
Being flexible on vehicle types typically results in more bids. If you only require "Coach / Charter Bus" but would also accept two Mid-Size Coaches, add both as separate requirements.
Amenities
Beyond vehicle type, you can specify which amenities are required on the vehicles. These are listed separately (see Create a Trip) and serve as guidance to operators — they're not contractually enforced at the bid stage.
