Viewing Bids
How to review, interpret, and navigate bids submitted on your trip.
Navigating to Response
From your trip detail page, click the Response tab in the top navigation. This opens the bid table for that trip, listing every bid submitted by bus operators during the bidding window.
You can also reach this view from the trip list on your dashboard — any trip with received bids shows a badge count. Click the badge or the trip row, then switch to the Bids tab.
Bid Table Columns
Each row in the bid table represents a single operator's bid. The columns are:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Operator | Business name of the operator who submitted the bid |
| Quote Amount | Final quoted price including all surcharges |
| Tax | Tax amount applied to the quote |
| Vehicles | Vehicle types and counts offered (e.g., "2 × 55-Passenger Coach") |
| Status | Current bid status (see below) |
| Submitted | Date and time the bid was submitted |
| Amenities | Amenities included in the bid (Wi-Fi, restroom, power outlets, etc.) |
Bid Statuses:
- SUBMITTED — Received and under review
- SHORTLISTED — Marked as a candidate by you
- ACCEPTED — Selected and contract generated
- WON — Contract fully executed
- WITHDRAWN — Operator withdrew the bid
- EXPIRED — Bidding window closed without selection
Cost Breakdown
Click any bid row to expand a Cost Breakdown panel showing how the operator built their quote:
- Base trip charge — core coach rate
- Deadhead miles — repositioning cost from the operator's depot to pickup
- Fuel surcharge — fuel cost adjustment
- Extra hours — overtime beyond the scheduled window
- Tolls & parking — estimated road and facility charges
- Custom add-ons — any operator-defined line items
Bid Revision History
Operators can revise bids before the window closes. To see what an operator changed, click the bid row to open the detail panel, then select Revision History. Each revision shows the previous quoted amount, the updated amount, and the timestamp of the change.
Sorting and Pagination
Click any column header to sort the bid table by that field. The default sort is by Submitted (ascending). Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate if you have more than 25 bids. You can also adjust the page size (25 / 50 / 100 rows).
Bids Submitted Before Window Opens
If an operator submits a bid before your bidding window officially opens, the bid is held in a pending state. It becomes visible to you — with a status of SUBMITTED — the moment the window opens. The submitted timestamp reflects when the operator actually submitted, not when the window opened.
