Bid Status & History

A complete reference for every bid status and how to track your bids over time.

Every bid moves through a defined set of statuses as the trip owner reviews, shortlists, and selects operators. Understanding each status tells you exactly where you stand and what actions are available to you.

Tracking Your Bids

My Bids view

Navigate to My Bids in the sidebar to see every bid you have submitted across all trips. The list is paginated and shows the trip name, your quoted total, bid deadline, and current status at a glance.

Filtering by status — use the status filter dropdown to narrow the list. Focus on active bids by selecting SUBMITTED, SHORTLISTED, and ACCEPTED together. This removes noise from expired and withdrawn bids when you are monitoring decisions in progress.

Sorting by deadline — sort by bid deadline ascending to surface the trips with the shortest remaining window. This helps you prioritize revisions or final checks on time-sensitive bids before the window closes.

Searching by trip name or ID — use the search bar if you know the specific trip you want to find. Trip IDs are shown on the trip detail page and in email notifications.

Bid detail view

Clicking any bid in the list opens the full bid detail view, which shows:

  • Your submitted bid form with all values as last submitted.
  • Revision history with timestamps and changed amounts.
  • The current status banner with a plain-language explanation of what it means.
  • Available action buttons based on your current status (Edit Bid, Withdraw Bid, or none).

Status Notifications

You receive an in-app notification whenever your bid status changes. Notification types include:

  • Bid moved to PENDING_REVIEW
  • Bid SHORTLISTED
  • Bid NOT_SHORTLISTED
  • Bid ACCEPTED — contract incoming
  • Bid WON — contract signed
  • Bid EXPIRED

Check the notification bell in the top navigation bar to view unread notifications. Clicking a notification takes you directly to the relevant bid.

Email notifications mirror in-app notifications. If you are not receiving emails, verify your notification preferences under Account → Notification Settings.

Interpreting Your Bid History

Your bid history is a practical tool for improving your win rate over time.

Reading your results

After a bid expires, review what happened. Two patterns are worth watching:

  • Consistently reaching SHORTLISTED but not winning — you are competitive enough to attract attention, but your final price is likely slightly above the winning operator. Consider tightening your base rates or reducing deadhead cost on trips where your depot is well-positioned.

  • Rarely reaching SHORTLISTED — your bids may not be matching trip requirements well. Check whether you are bidding on trips that need vehicle types you have excess capacity in, and whether your bid window timing is leaving you outside the trip owner's active review period.

A 20–60% shortlist-to-win conversion rate is typical for established operators. Below 20% over a sustained period warrants a pricing review.
