Bus Operator Calendar View
Visualize your bid activity and won trip schedule in a monthly calendar grid.
The Bus Operator calendar shows a monthly grid of your bid activity and confirmed trip schedule. Use it to spot scheduling conflicts and plan your fleet allocation before submitting new bids.

Event Color Coding
Each event on the calendar represents a trip departing on that date. Events are color-coded by bid status:

|---|---|---|
| Yellow | BID_PENDING | You have a submitted bid awaiting a decision on a trip departing this day |
| Green | BID_WON | You have a won bid / active contract for a trip departing this day |
| Gray | BID_LOST | You bid on this trip but were not selected |
| Blue | AVAILABLE | A trip is available for bidding on this day (no bid submitted yet) |
| Violet | REVIEW_PENDING | You have a bid under review for a trip departing this day |
Interacting with Events
Hover over any event (400ms delay) to see a summary preview without navigating away. The tooltip shows:
- Trip name and trip type
- Pickup → dropoff cities
- Date range
- Whether this trip has an instant quote
- Bid status with a colored dot
Click an event to navigate directly to the bid detail page for that trip. If you have not yet submitted a bid, clicking navigates to the browse trips page.
+X more — when more than one event falls on the same day, an overflow button appears. Clicking it opens a popover listing all events for that date with their status labels, each linking to the corresponding bid detail page.

Use the left and right arrows at the top of the calendar to move between months. Events always appear on the trip's departure date.
Strategic Fleet Planning
Calendar shows departure dates only
The calendar reflects a trip's departure date, not its full duration. A 5-day trip departing on Monday appears only on Monday. Always open the trip detail to review the full date range before committing fleet resources.
Use the calendar to make informed bidding decisions:
- Before submitting a bid, check whether the departure date has any green (BID_WON) events. If it does, confirm you have sufficient spare fleet to cover both the existing committed trip and the new one.
- Green blocks (BID_WON) on a date mean you have a committed vehicle on that date — avoid overbidding for overlapping trips unless you have spare fleet capacity.
- Yellow blocks (BID_PENDING) on a date mean you may win that trip — factor this uncertainty into your fleet planning for nearby dates.
