Trip Details
Understand everything shown on a trip detail page before placing a bid.
Clicking any trip from the marketplace opens the trip detail page. This is where you evaluate the full scope of a charter request before deciding whether to place a bid.
What the Trip Detail Page Shows
Trip Overview
- Trip name and description — The trip owner's title and any additional context they have provided about the charter.
- Trip type — Round Trip, One-Way, or Shuttle Run.
- Day type — Single-day or Multi-day.
- Departure date and return date (for multi-day trips).
Route Information
- Interactive map showing the pickup and dropoff locations connected by a route line.
- Route distance — Total driving distance in km.
- Estimated driving duration — Based on standard routing without traffic.
- Pickup → Dropoff — Named locations with full addresses.
Passenger and Vehicle Requirements
- Passenger count — Total number of passengers the trip owner expects to transport.
- Vehicle requirements — Each vehicle type required and the quantity needed. A trip may require, for example, two Full Coaches and one Mini Bus.
- Required amenities — A list of features the vehicle must have: WiFi, Restroom, ADA accessibility, luggage storage, and others. Your bid must be backed by vehicles that meet these requirements.
Trip Owner Provisions and Notes
- Driver provisions — What the trip owner will supply for your driver(s): meals, accommodation, parking, or other allowances.
- Toll access — Whether the trip owner will provide a toll transponder or expects you to absorb toll costs.
- Special notes — Any freeform instructions or context from the trip owner (meeting points, dress code, restricted areas, etc.).
Bidding Window
The bidding window shows:
- Opens at — The date and time when bidding became available.
- Closes at — The deadline for bid submission.
- Countdown timer — Live countdown to the close time.
Once the window closes, the Place Bid button is disabled and the trip moves out of the active marketplace.
Actions on the Trip Detail Page

Revising a Bid
If you have already submitted a bid, the View My Bid action shows your current bid along with a full revision history — every version you have submitted with timestamps and amounts. You can submit a revised bid from this view at no additional credit cost.
Message threads are trip-scoped
Conversations started via the Message Trip Owner button are attached to this specific trip. They are not a general inbox channel — use them to ask clarifying questions about this charter before committing to a bid.
