Browsing Available Trips
Find and evaluate open trip requests that match your fleet and service area.
The trip marketplace is where you discover charter requests posted by trip owners. Every trip shown here is in an active bidding window and eligible for your fleet to bid on.
Only ACTIVE trips appear here
Draft trips and trips that have already been BOOKED (awarded to another operator) are never shown. You will only see trips whose bidding window is currently open.
View Modes
Use the toggle in the top-right corner to switch between three layouts:
- List view — A table of trip cards sorted by your current sort preference. Best for scanning many trips quickly.
- Map view — Pin markers on an interactive map. Each pin represents a trip's pickup location. Click a pin to see the trip card. Best for understanding geographic distribution.
- Split view — List on the left, map on the right, synchronized. Clicking a trip in the list highlights its pin, and vice versa.
Search and Filters
Keyword search matches against trip names and pickup/dropoff cities.
Filter the marketplace using any combination of the following:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Vehicle type | Multi-select. Show only trips requiring vehicle types you operate (Full Coach, Mid-Size Coach, Mini Bus, Sprinter Van, School Bus, or specialty limos). |
| Departure date range | Trips departing between two dates you specify. |
| Return date range | For multi-day trips, filter by when they return. |
| Country | CANADA, USA, or CANADA_USA for cross-border trips. |
| Region / State | Filter by state (USA) or province (Canada). |
| Distance from depot | Show only trips within N km of your depot location. |
Reading a Trip Card
Each card in list view shows:
- Trip name and pickup city → dropoff city route
- Departure date and passenger count
- Vehicle requirements — vehicle types needed and how many of each
- Required amenities — icons for WiFi, Restroom, ADA accessibility, and others
- Bid deadline countdown — time remaining in the bidding window
- Distance from your depot — shown when geo-filtering is active (e.g., "142 km from your depot")
- Place Bid button
Sorting
The default sort order is by bid deadline (soonest closing first), so you do not miss opportunities that are about to expire. You can switch to:
- Departure date — trips departing soonest first
- Distance — trips closest to your depot first (requires depot to be configured)
