Quote Rules
Configure global settings that govern your organization's bidding behavior on MXBS.
Operational rules are global settings that control how your organization participates in the MXBS marketplace — including instant quoting, trip filtering, and vehicle pricing config mappings.

Instant Quote Enabled
A toggle that controls whether trip owners can request auto-generated quotes from your organization.
- ON — Trip owners browsing for nearby operators can request an instant quote from you. The quote is calculated automatically using your pricing configs.
- OFF — You will not receive instant quote requests. Trip owners cannot trigger auto-quotes from your organization.
Disabling Instant Quotes Reduces Visibility
When instant quotes are disabled, your organization will not appear to trip owners who are browsing for operators that offer instant quoting. This can significantly reduce inbound trip discovery. Only disable if you prefer to respond to all trip requests manually.
Max Deadhead km
An optional cap on the empty-drive distance your vehicles will travel to reach a pickup location.
- Leave blank (unlimited) — You see all available trips regardless of how far your vehicle must travel empty to reach the pickup.
- Set a value (e.g., 100 km) — Trips that require more than this distance of empty driving to reach the pickup will not appear in your Browse Trips results.
Setting this value too low may exclude profitable long-distance trips where deadhead is a necessary part of the route economics.
Max Trip Distance km
An optional cap on the total length of a trip.
- Leave blank (unlimited) — All trips appear in Browse Trips regardless of total distance.
- Set a value — Trips longer than this value will be filtered out of your Browse Trips results.
Vehicle Config Mapping
Maps each vehicle type in your fleet to a specific pricing configuration. This mapping is used by the instant quote system to calculate auto-quotes when a trip owner requests one.

Map Every Vehicle Type You Operate
Complete the vehicle config mapping for every vehicle type in your fleet. If a vehicle type has no mapping, the system cannot generate an accurate instant quote for trip requests that require that vehicle type. Incomplete mappings will cause instant quote failures for those vehicle categories.
