Driver Management
Add, edit, and manage drivers in your fleet for trip assignments.
The Driver Management page shows all your drivers in a table with their key details and current status. Access it from Fleet → Drivers.
Driver Table
The table displays the following columns for each driver:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Driver's full name (click to open driver detail) |
| License Class | CDL class or license type (e.g., CDL Class A, Class B) |
| License Expiry | Expiry date of the driver's current license |
| Hire Date | Date the driver joined your organization |
| Status | ACTIVE or INACTIVE |
License Expiry Warnings
- Drivers whose license expires within 30 days are highlighted in yellow.
- Drivers with an expired license are highlighted in red and cannot be assigned to new trips.
Monitor License Expiry Proactively
Driver license expiry is not automatically enforced at bid time — only at assignment time. A bid can be submitted even if all your drivers have expired licenses. Review license expiry dates regularly to avoid being blocked from fulfilling a won trip.

Editing a Driver
Click the driver's name in the table to open their detail page, then click Edit. Update any fields and click Save to apply changes.
Active / Inactive Toggle
Each driver can be set to Active or Inactive:
- Active drivers appear in assignment dropdowns when you are assigning vehicles to a trip.
- Inactive drivers are hidden from all assignment dropdowns. Use this status for drivers who are on leave, terminated, or temporarily unlicensed.
Toggling a driver inactive does not delete their record or remove them from historical assignments.
How Drivers Are Used in Trips
Each vehicle slot in a trip assignment requires exactly one driver. When you assign a vehicle to a trip, you select the driver linked to that specific vehicle for that trip. A driver can only be assigned to one vehicle per trip.
