Operator Network
Browse other bus operators and share capacity through BO-to-BO trips.
The Operator Network is a directory of other bus operators on MXBS and a capacity-sharing marketplace. Use it to discover partners, fill excess capacity, or subcontract trips you cannot fulfill.

Browsing the Directory
Search for other operators by city, region, or operator name. Each public operator profile displays:
- Business name and service areas
- Vehicle types operated
- Year established and fleet size
- Contact information (visible for connected operators)
BO-to-BO Trips (Capacity Sharing)
Bus Operators can post their own excess capacity as BO Trips — trip requests directed at other operators rather than trip owners. This enables direct operator-to-operator collaboration.
Common use cases:
- You have a vehicle available on specific dates and want to fill it with a paying trip.
- You received a trip request you cannot fulfill and want to subcontract it to a trusted operator.
- You need vehicles beyond your own fleet to cover a large trip.
BO Trips Are Separate from the Main Marketplace
BO trips do not appear in the main Browse Trips marketplace. They are only visible to the operators you designate as recipients through your chosen share type.
How to Post a BO Trip
Open the Post a Trip form
Navigate to Network → Post a Trip.
Enter trip details
Fill in the trip name, route (pickup → dropoff), dates, required vehicle type and count, and any amenities.
Choose a share type
Select how recipients are determined:
- Direct — Select specific operator organizations from a list. Only those organizations see the trip.
- Broadcast — Send to all operators in a region. Filter by state, country, or radius (km).
Publish
Click Publish. The trip status becomes ACTIVE and is immediately visible to your designated recipients.
Recipient Experience
When a BO trip is published to an operator, it appears in their Network feed with one of the following statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| NEW | The operator has not yet viewed this trip |
| VIEWED | The operator has opened the trip detail |
| DISMISSED | The operator chose not to bid |
Recipients can bid on BO trips using the same bid form as regular marketplace trips.
Managing Your Posted BO Trips
View all trips you have posted in Network → My Posted Trips. The status flow for posted trips is:
DRAFT → ACTIVE → CLOSED / EXPIRED / CANCELLED
