Contracts

Review, sign, and manage contracts for trips you have been awarded.

Overview

The Contracts page tracks every contract associated with your won bids. Access it from Contracts in the left sidebar. Each contract represents a legally binding agreement between you and the trip owner for a specific trip.

Keep Your Profile Terms Current

Your cancellation policy and business terms printed on every contract are pulled directly from your profile. Update your profile before bidding if your terms have changed.

Finding Contracts

Use the status filter on the Contracts page to narrow results:

After Your Bid is Accepted

When your bid is marked ACCEPTED, a contract is automatically generated and the trip owner signs first. The contract then appears in your Contracts list with a status of PENDING_SIGNATURE — it is waiting for your signature to become active.

What to Review Before Signing

Before clicking Sign Contract, verify the following details in the contract:

  • Trip name and dates — confirm the pickup and return dates match what you bid on.
  • Vehicle count and types — these must match exactly what you bid (e.g., 2x Full Coach).
  • Price per coach — the per-vehicle rate you quoted in your bid.
  • Total contract value — the sum across all vehicles.
  • Tax details — applicable taxes itemized on the contract.
  • Your business terms — your cancellation policy, payment terms, and T&C as recorded in your profile at bid time.

Signing a Contract

Click Sign Contract on any PENDING_SIGNATURE contract. Your signature is recorded electronically and the contract status changes to ACTIVE. The trip owner is notified immediately, and the trip appears in My Trips.

Contract Lifecycle

PENDING_SIGNATURE → ACTIVE → COMPLETED
                          ↘ CANCELLED
  • PENDING_SIGNATURE — Awaiting your signature.
  • ACTIVE — Both parties have signed. Trip is live and assignments can be made.
  • COMPLETED — The trip's return date has passed and delivery is confirmed.
  • CANCELLED — The contract was cancelled. This status is immutable (it cannot be reversed).

Contract Edits

Either party (you or the trip owner) may request an edit to an active contract — for example, a change to vehicle count or pricing. When an edit is requested:

  1. The requested changes are presented for review.
  2. You must re-sign the contract to accept the new terms.
  3. The original contract version is marked SUPERSEDED and a new contract version is created in its place.

You can view the full version history of any contract by opening it and scrolling to the History section.

Cancellation

Either party may cancel an active contract. The cancellation policy recorded in the contract (from your profile) governs whether any fees apply. Once cancelled, the contract status is set to CANCELLED and cannot be reversed. The associated trip in My Trips is also marked CANCELLED.
